Would you imagine your day without a smartphone? Without using mobile apps? It is hard now because we simply like to take smartphones in our pockets everywhere. Not only us but our children too. Just to keep in touch with friends, to search stuff, have fun, watch movies and TV shows, and get work done, among other tasks. To not get lost while searching apps in App Store or Google Play, TIME Magazine picked out 50 best iPhone and Android apps of 2016. One of them is very close to our hearts. It is called Picniic.
But what exactly Picniic is and why it was also featured as the best family organizer by: CBS, Forbes, USA Today, Time Magazine, Product Hunt, and The Boston Globe? TIME’s journalists named it „… a sort of Swiss Army Knife for keeping your family organized.”
In details, Picniic is the next generation family organizer, a shared to-do list, calendar, shopping list, meal planner, family locator and event manager integrated into an user-friendly tool available as the web, iOS, and Android app. Users can assign tasks on the to-do list to specific family members and take note of the last time a certain family member was heard from. Picniic offers some extras, including a newsfeed-style stream of updates and an encrypted storage locker for keeping personal family information.
