Miquido, the top-rated mobile software house behind digital platforms used by more than 100 million people, has named Piotr Dzwonnik as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2026. He takes over day-to-day leadership from founder Krzysztof Kogutkiewicz, who remains with the company and is now focused on long-term vision and strategy.
Since its founding in 2011, Miquido has built its business on a simple belief: a phone in someone's hand is the most direct, most trusted way for an enterprise to reach them. That belief has carried the company from a small team to one serving nine-figure user bases for global brands, and this leadership change is meant to carry it forward.
Why the role needed to change
Miquido spent the past year rebuilding its delivery model around AI. Having set this new standard, Krzysztof and the leadership team are ready for the next phase of growth. But to scale commercial success, Miquido needed a dedicated leader. The goal was to translate Miquido's AI advantage into market growth before competitors narrowed the gap, which led straight to Piotr Dzwonnik.
He read our situation accurately with almost nothing to go on, and came straight back with solutions
says Krzysztof Kogutkiewicz, Founder of Miquido.
What won us over was his energy, his genuine belief in what we can build here, and deep experience with enterprise clients and large-scale sales - exactly where we have the most work ahead of us.
Twenty-five years of closing enterprise deals
Piotr Dzwonnik brings more than 25 years of experience in international sales and business development, almost all of it in the enterprise and telecom sectors. He spent half of his career at Oracle, where he rose from Senior Sales Manager to Senior Director, Sales of Oracle Communications. Earlier, he worked for Avaya as Country Manager for South Eastern Europe, as well as for Sygnity SA and Comarch, in various sales and sales management roles covering international markets.
Piotr holds an MSc in Control Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology and an MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology School of Business. He also completed Columbia Business School's Executive Education courses on Leading Strategic Growth and Building and Leading Effective Teams and obtained mentor certification from Open Mentoring Academy.
Across my career, mostly working on international markets, at Polish and global companies, I've been tasked to turn around businesses that had lost momentum, or scale ones that required a boost to reach their potential - says Piotr Dzwonnik, CEO of Miquido.
Miquido already delivers at an A level for its clients. My job is to help more clients experience that, more consistently; that's what growth means here.
What changes, what doesn't
Piotr now owns the day-to-day: strategy execution, commercial growth, and operational decisions. Krzysztof is staying close through the transition and beyond, focused on vision and long-term strategy: the two roles are split by design, not by necessity.
My priorities here are simple - says the new CEO.
Miquido needs to keep growing, but growing stably and in a healthy way. That's the hard part, but it's the priority. I want communication here to stay clear and transparent as we do it. And I want Miquido to remain a place that people genuinely like being at, somewhere we still want to grab a coffee together, link on a personal level, and enjoy the day, all while remaining super creative and disciplined in execution.
For Miquido, this leadership change reflects a core belief established fifteen years ago: well-built mobile technology is the most direct way to earn enterprise trust. Piotr’s mission is to deliver on that promise for an expanding roster of clients, from TUI and Skyscanner to Universal Music and Warner Music, while scaling operations to a new level.
